Living in Okinawa is amazing. I went to a pottery show, ended up discovering a Goat Fight which became a Bull Fight! C’mon I wanted a nice Yomitan Okinawa pottery show, and bam just like that I found out they were having goat fights at the same location! So I walked to the goat fights, having never seen one. I waited in the hot sun for the goats, but when the gates to the arena opened…it was a bull fight. And the bulls were huge! Side note, its not a bull fight in the traditional sense, where one is killed. The Okinawan people actually treat these bulls like pets, and care for them greatly. The idea is for one bull to make the other run our of the ring. Think of it like Bull Sumo. Then the other bull who didn’t run, wins the match. Great time for everyone today..but seriously I went to a pottery show and a bull fight broke out!!
