Men-ya Taku, A ramen restaurant in Kita-Horie.
The must-haves here are the “Double ramen”, which is a blend of seafood and pork bone soup, and the “Rich dipping ramen”, but we also recommend the “Japanese style noodles without the soup”!
First, we buy the food tickets from the vending machine. Above the vending machine there is an English menu too, so this ramen shop is traveler-friendly.
All the noodles served at men-ya Taku are made from home made whole grain at this restaurant.
At the table you can see bottles of chili oil, garlic, white pepper, cayenne pepper, and black shichimi, so you can add them depending on how you want your ramen to taste.
The roasted pork here are cooked so tender that it melts in your mouth. The staff never forgets to warm up the toppings so that the hot soup won’t get cold. Also they always change the ways they make their noodles, depending on the weather and season.
Today we had the Double roasted pork noodle.
