Through January, MSP received just 17.6 inches of snow – a relatively meager amount, which provided time for additional training that helped prepare the operations/field maintenance crew for the deluge that was to come. Then, between Feb. 4 and Feb. 28, MSP received 38.9 inches of snow – the fourth snowiest February on record at MSP.
