On the third day we hiked from “Vale do Capão” over the “Gerais do Vieira” plateau to the “Mirante do Vale do Pati” lookout and then to “Igrejinha” (local accomodation) for the night. The fourth day we hiked up to the “Cachoeirão” waterfall (por cima) and then back into the valley for another night at a local home (“Casa do Mirante”).

All videos and photos have been taken during an 8 days tour through the Chapada Diamantina National Park. Chapada Diamantina lies 400km west/inland from Salvador in the Brazilian state of Bahia. One of the main attractions is the “Vale do Pati” which is considered the best trekking destination in Brazil.
