Hi guys! So this is what we were able to do during our 10 hour layover at the Tokyo International Airport (HND)!

For reference, since I was in Japan for 10 days less than 2 months before this I was already familiar with how to use the public transportation and what the best things to do with our limited time would be. With that being said it might have been a little easier for us than if it was your first time in Japan, but it isn’t too hard to figure out so I still recommend going out into the city!

FOR ANYONE WHO WILL HAVE A SIMILAR LAYOVER: We started at Akihabara which is a video game and anime district and spent some time playing different video games at SEGA. Then we took the train to Takeshita street which is a long street full of shops and food. If you walk to the end of the street and veer left you will find some shrines and a Japanese garden (the thing that was closed at @6:00). From there we took a taxi to Shibuya Crossing and then walked around that area which has a lot of shops and food as well. We spent a good amount of time at each place, weren’t rushed, and still had plenty of time left over before we had to head back to the airport!
