► Here’s a look at the relatively new E7 Shinkansen, it went into service from Tokyo to Nagano in March 2014, and in March this year (2015) the service was extended all the way to Kanazawa.
It’s quite “slow” compared to other Shinkansen trains, traveling at just 260 km/h / 160 mph, buts its good enough for me.
Along the way, it stops at Omiya, Karuizawa, Ueda, Nagano and Toyama before arriving at Kanazawa. – Enjoy the trip!
