Every year on January 2nd the Koshio Shrine Sominsai Festival is held in Hanamaki, Iwate. This was about the 6th time that I’ve seen this festival. One of these years I’ll get the courage to participate. (I am going to participate in two similar “naked man” festivals later this month though!)
