Part 2/3. Tripreports. Airline Trip Report – Air France Long Haul Inflight Flight Review. This is an Air France Economy Class Flight Review of our Long Haul flight on an Air France Boeing 777 from Paris Charles de Gaulle Airport to Singapore´s Changi Airport. The tour begins where we have just arrived at Charles de Gaulle airport on another Air France Economy Class flight from Copenhagen.
We make our way from the arrivals gate to Terminal 2E from where our Air France long-haul flight to Singapore will be departing. After spending some time exploring the airport, and stopping for a drink it is time to board our aircraft. After a longer delay our flight get´s underway and we present the viewer with the Air France Economy Class Cabin. Throughout the flight we update the viewer as to where we are and also show what it is like to be in Economy Class onboard an Air France Boeing 777. This Tripreport includes a tour of this aircraft´s lavatory, a look at the Inflight Entertainment System, the Air France Inflight Magazine, the Air France Safety Video, a look at what inflight meals and inflight drinks are served. We also get a good view of the Air France Economy Class seats. After we have been served our inflight breakfast we begin our downward descent towards Singapore´s Changi Airport. The viewer is given some nice views from both the Final approach and short final before our Air France Boeing 777 lands at Changi Airport. The video includes the disembarkation from this aircraft before we (Maxi and Maro) make our way to our next flight hoping that we have not missed it!
OUR IMPRESSIONS OF THIS AIR FRANCE FLIGHT:
– The cabin crew was friendly and professional from the start to end of the flight.
– The drinks selection was good although we did find that our Bloody Mary had a little too much
Vodka added to it. Maro enjoyed her chicken dinner more than I (Maxi) enjoyed my Sweet and
Sour Pork as I felt that the dish consisted more of rice than meat sauce. Breakfast was enjoyed
by us both. The snack box and drinks available at the back of the aircraft is a very good service.
– The legroom in the standard Economy seat is bearable throughout the journey, although those of us
over 6 feet tall will always hope for just a little bit more space, particularly when the seat in front is
lowered. The adjustable headrest is very convenient when sleeping.
– We could not fault the Inflight Entertainment System which had a very good selection of multi language
entertainment for both adults and children.
VERDICT:
Even though we had a very long delay before takeoff, owing to the weather and not Air France, we both very
much enjoyed our time on the ground (in the Air France Terminal) and onboard the aircraft. That said
we do feel that despite our long delay, too little information was provided to us onboard regarding the
status of our transfer flights, a service that we have experienced on other airlines in the past. Air France
is a long-haul airline which we would be pleased to fly with again…
