If you’re wondering what to do in Osaka, we really recommend a visit to the best castle in Japan (in our opinion), and it’s so close to areas like Umeda and Namba there’s really no excuse not to visit!
It’s a great place to wander around and relax away from the hustle & bustle of city life, you can even treat yourself to a matcha green tea ice cream! We visited during the cherry blossom season as well, which made the whole area just so magical!
Exploring Dotonbori, the most famous area of Osaka with the Glico running man sign, lots of shops, restaurants and bright lights! I couldn’t believe how busy it was, and how many people were there in the evening.
Before we went to Osaka, all I knew about the city was the famous scene of Dotonbori, and the canal with all the bright lights and signs. The atmosphere is amazing – bustling with people, lights and so much going on. Osaka’s known as the kitchen of Japan, and there are so many places to eat.
