Vlogging on a Sony FDR X3000 in 2020 From Taipei Taiwan

In this short video of an afternoon spent in Taipei Taiwan I decided to use only my Sony action camera to test it out as a casual vlogging camera. I’m quite impressed overall with the video quality and the ease of use of this device.

I promise I won’t be wandering around the forest. The settings for this video were 4k, wide view, vivid color, internal audio, 30 frames a second.

► Sony x3000 – An excellent travel vlogging camera

PROS:

-Small, light and fits in your pocket.
-STABLE – Very important for travel vlogging.
-Good battery life. You don’t need to carry multiple batteries like the GoPro.
– Wide angle, medium angle and narrow angle view options.
– Good audio quality.
– Ability to shoot in 4k is cool.
– Comes with a protective water case.
– Can mount it on a cheap selfie stick for ease of use.
-Vivid and neutral color profiles.

CONS:

-Wind noise. That’s always an issue with action cameras and point and shoots.
– Horrible low light performance. If it’s not daytime, don’t bother using this camera.
