I petted a cat (a clowder of cats) for the first time in Ainoshima! A bit of a trip from Fukuoka but with proper research, you’ll get there in an hour! And then there’s the ferry. Huge waves that day so the ride was rough (on me, particularly, who gets seasick). Quiet place, and of course, if you love cats, highly recommended! (2016)
