TRAVEL | San’yō 山陽地方 Chūgoku 中国地方 Kyushu 九州 | @luigipuno
After having a wonderful experience exploring Kyushu a year ago via a roadtrip, my family asked me to plan a sequel! I decided to plan a route that took us through the Chūgoku region, specifically the San’yō side. The area has alot of variety: industrial areas, rural farms, large cities, and picturesque coastlines. There are plenty of historic and beautiful sightseeing spots to check out, while also having some of the regular fixtures that you expect from a trip to Japan – convenient commercial areas, fantastic food, fresh produce, and unbelievable seafood. I wouldn’t hesitate recommending this journey to anyone looking to explore an area of Japan that is less traveled.
