_From my Tokyo, Japan Trip 25 Oct – 4 Nov 2019_
Simple and random vlog from my Japan Autumn Trip with my fam (no, they are not my sisters).
This video is a compilation of our 1st and 2nd day footage.
Our first day was quite adventurous, as there was a storm that flooded the some of the train tracks between Narita and Tokyo so most of the tourist were stranded there. The fast train and buses ceased operations. Fortunately for us, the local train were running so we rode that to Tokyo. It’s not included in the video as it wasn’t interesting.
And funny thing was, we went to the wrong accommodation twice.. because of yours truly. I’m lucky i’m not dead yet from the “wrath of the aunties”.
Mount Fuji was beautiful, we’re lucky we got a nice weather despite the storm that happened the day before. And since typhoon hit a few weeks before, the trains to Kawaguchiko were not operating. I was lucky I could book a bus for the four of us after that happened, cause a lot of early bus seats were sold out. The traffic was really bad but at least we got very good rest along the journey. Rented a car there, very easy to drive, very nice to drive around actually and the speed limit is 40 km/h so it’s pretty safe unless somebody deliberately wanted to hurt you or your car.
Tokyo city was crazy! Too much people! I hate people! Except the ones that are in the costumes though. Yes, Halloween was just around the corner then and I didn’t know it was such a big deal in Tokyo. A lot of people put humongous effort in their get-up and it was very entertaining to see. I just didn’t like how people were zooming pass us in every step we go. You cannot see my expression in the video but 3:30 can.
