Magome Juku is located near the border between Gifu and Nagano prefecture in central Japan. It was one of the 69 stations of Nakasendo, an ancient road between Kyoto and Edo(Tokyo) in Edo Period, and it has a special atmosphere of old Japan, as you can see in this video.
Because Magome is a quite small area, you can also go to Tsumago(妻籠), Naegi Castle Ruins(苗木城跡) and so on, which are near Magome.
