After spending about 45 minutes of anticipated waiting across Tracks No. 11 and 12, an 8-car JR West N700 Series Shinkansen Set No. S8 finally arrived at Kagoshima-chuo Station at 5.09 p.m. on Track No. 11. The train had initially arrived from Shin-osaka via Okayama, Hiroshima & Hakata (Fukuoka) as the Shinkansen “SAKURA” Superexpress No. 557 bound for Kagoshima-chuo, and was to undergo a thorough major cleaning procedure before becoming the Shinkansen “SAKURA” Superexpress No. 570 bound for Shin-osaka. The entire train-cleaning process took not more than approximately 35 minutes.
Upon completion of the entire interior cleaning process, the train doors were reopened again at 5.44 p.m., permitting the passengers to board the train to Shin-osaka. Without wasting anymore time, I boarded the train safely via Car No. 6 and proceeded into the Green Car (first class) cabin before settling into my assigned Seat No. 10A for the long early evening return trip of 4 hours 14 minutes back to the modern and colossal hustle and bustle of Osaka situated in the centre of the Keihanshin metropolitan area.
The seat adjacent to me, 10B, would stay unoccupied for the evening return voyage duration of 4 hours 14 minutes from Kagoshima-chuo to Shin-osaka. Once the clock struck precisely 6.07 p.m. sharp, and the Shinkansen “SAKURA” Superexpress No. 570 finally departed Kagoshima-chuo Station for its rather long early evening trip duration of approximately 4 hours 14 minutes to the modern and colossal hustle and bustle of downtown Osaka situated around the centre of the Keihanshin metropolitan area. I was then on my way for a really long early evening return trip of approximately 4 hours 14 minutes to the modern and colossal hustle and bustle of Osaka located in the centre of the Keihanshin metropolitan area.
