After spending almost 20 minutes of anticipated waiting on the westbound platforms, an 8-car JR West N700 Series Shinkansen Set No. S6, which would operate as the Shinkansen “SAKURA” Superexpress No. 543 bound for Hakata (Fukuoka) & Kagoshima-chuo, finally entered Shin-osaka Station by around 6.37 a.m. on Track No. 21. Once all the train doors were opened, I promptly boarded the train via Car No. 6 and went into the premium Green Car (first class) cabin before securing my allocated Seat No. 12D for the coming early morning travel duration of 4 hours 05 minutes to the southern seaside port city of Kagoshima in southern Kyushu.

The seat next to me, 12C, would remain vacant for the central early morning journey duration of 4 hours 05 minutes from Shin-osaka to Kagoshima-chuo. Once the clock struck around 6.50 a.m. sharp, all the train doors were closed, and the Shinkansen “SAKURA” Superexpress No. 543 finally pulled out of Shin-osaka Station for its rather long early morning trip of approximately 4 hours 05 minutes to the main southern seaside port city of Kagoshima in southern Kyushu. I was then en route for a rather long early morning trip duration of 4 hours 05 minutes to the mid-sized southern seaside port city of Kagoshima located at the southernmost tip of Kyushu.
