Boramae Park is a popular public park located in Sindaebang-dong, Dongjak-gu. The park was established on the former site of the Korean Air Force Academy. The Seoul Metropolitan Government took over the site and transformed it into a sprawling public park with many amenities and features. There is a sports field, lots of grassy areas, a walking trail, a jogging course, and a swimming pool. Additional facilities include a library, a youth and family center, a small zoo, a welfare center for the disabled, and the Nambu Senior Welfare Service Center.
