Tokyo is an incredible city, here are my top things to do while there:
1. Kobe beef. This meat is extremely high quality and considered the best in the world so understand that it’s expensive! I went to Keiseki 511, my meal was about $170 per person. The service there was amazing and the steak was everything it was hyped up to be.
2. While were on the topic of food do a food and night drinking tour.
3. Next go to the Robot Restaurant.
4. On the note of games and excitement checkout the various arcades in Akihabara.
5. Still in the videogame mode? Well then play some mario kart in real life.
6. Next visit a Don Quijote department store. This place was crazy, I legitimately got lost in there. You can literally find anything you can possibly buy or need.
7. Next checkout Shibuya Crossing. This has to be the world’s busiest pedestrian crossing.
8. Check out the Sensoji Temple
9. Checkout a baseball game.
10. Next lets talk about the themed cafes, theres a ton of different kinds. They have cat cafes, dog cafes, owl cafes even maid cafes where apparently women dressed as maids serve you food and drinks! Hey man… umm whatever… I went to a hedgehog cafe… (video insert)
11. Have a drink at the New York Bar at the Park Hyatt. (TIP: Try to get there early as they charge an entrance fee after 7PM on Sun and 8PM Mon-Sat for non hotel guests)
12. Let loose and bring out that inner pop star and sing some Karaoke.
