Pacific Rim National Park Reserve is a Canadian national park reserve in British Columbia. The entire park encompasses 511 km² of land and ocean. The park is characterized by rugged coasts and lush temperate rainforest.
Rainforest Trail
Two 1 km trails explore the magical world of a pristine old growth rainforest. The boardwalk leads you through centuries of growth, where gigantic trees and ancient fallen logs are carpeted with hanging gardens of moss, ferns and young trees. Loop A uses interpretive signs to explore forest life cycles, Loop B emphasizes forest structure and inhabitants such as the salmon which spawn in the cool protective shade of Sandhill Creek.
