Well, the trip to Japan is over. And now I begin to sift through what I have filmed and start getting content together. Be ready to see uploads from the trip for a little while.
Today’s FTL (or FTJ [Floundering Through Japan], since that will be the title for anything from the trip) shares a little bit from the ride to Osaka from Yokohama, via the Tokaido Shinkansen. Being on a bullet train is kind of like being on an airplane. Similar amount of ambient noise, as well as feeling changes in elevation really well.
I didn’t go with a green car seat this time around to save some money. And aside from having an aisle seat for a bit, I at least managed to have seats for the long stretches. Only on the ride from Osaka to Kyoto did I not have one, but that was like a 15 minute trip anyways.
Apologies for the buzzing noise once I move to a window seat later in the video. Not quite sure what caused it. Probably the overhead PA, since it goes away, and then comes back again. It didn’t happen on anything I shot on the ride back to Yokohama a week later. I’ll have another video up soon with what I shot during that soon.
Thanks for watching!
