Check out the ultimate powder in Hokkaido. 2019 Jan, we went to a place called Shimamaki, 2 hours drive from Niseko, a fishing village in west Hokkaido. With 4 days catskiing with Hokkaido Backcountry Club, we found some amazing powder and terrain, this is what we called JAPOW!!
