Autumn is awesome in Japan. After the summer’s heat, everyone is ready for the fall temperature and colors. The word for ‘changing leaves’ in Japan is “koyo.” Fall is my favorite season and I love it even more after moving to Japan. đđ
Sites and events (all of which I highly recommend) featured in this video include:
-Akame 48 Waterfalls (Nabari):
-Arashiyama Momiji Festival (Kyoto):
-Nabari Festival:
-Nara Park and Isuien Garden:
-Hase-dera Temple (Nara Prefecture):
-Soni Highlands (Uda District):
Even with the days getting shorter, I feel inspired and heartened by the beauty all around me at this time of year.
Special thanks to @theshanaleigh and my Nabari friends for all of the fun adventures this season.
