Dakigaeri Gorge x Fall Colors of North Japan

As you walk along the path through Dakigaeri Gorge take in the beauty of the surrounding forest. In the summer, the contrast between green and white is beautiful, and in autumn it is dyed in the colors of the autumn leaves. Be prepared for a pleasant surprise as you pass through a small, dark tunnel but will suddenly be greeted with the sound of cascading water as Mikaeri Waterfall reveals itself. The waterfall is about 30 meters tall and falls in two stages. It is called “retrospection falls” because it is so beautiful that you will want to keep looking back at it.
