TERUZUSHI The Third (照寿司 三代目), Takayoshi Watanabe’s Ootoro (Fatty Tuna)

TERUZUSHI (照寿司) is located in Tobata district, Kitakyushu, Fukuoka. This location is really country side and inconvenient. But now TERUZUSHI is one of the most famous Sushi Restaurant in the world. Why? Originally this Sushi Restaurant was not highend, but ordinary restaurant. The third generation master chef Mr. Takayoshi Watanabe tried to change the business model, and finally found his way. That is Instagrammable (a.k.a. Instabae or Sushibae).

His Instagram account have over 30K followers. He upload many of special ingredients photo with his piercing eye shot. This style is similar appeal way in Kabuki called “Mie wo kiru (見得を切る)“. He succeed to grab Sushi-Lover’s heart. Now his Sushi Restaurant have a lot of guests from world wide.

His ingredients are all local production for local consumption. He pursues his “One and Only” Sushi Entertainment continuously.
