Rascal Does Not Dream of Bunny Girl Senpai (Seishun Buta Yarou, or Aobuta) is set in Kamakura’s iconic Fujisawa and Enoshima, with famous scenes dotted along the Enoshima Enoden Railway line. Kamakura is a very popular day-trip destination from Tokyo, all year round.

The Anime Tourism Association and otomo have partnered up offering private tours for anime pilgrimage sites via the Japan Walker website (link below). This is an exciting opportunity for anime fans to see the real life locations the anime is set in, AND do some sightseeing around famous landmarks. In addition to visiting the pilgrimage sites, enjoy local eats and enjoy the scenery of the beautiful town from the observatory on Enoshima island. Not only that, English speaking guides are available too! It doesn’t get much better than this.

Besides Aobuta, there are two other tours being offered for Suzumiya Haruhi no Yuutsu (The Melancholy of Haruhi Suzumiya) in Kobe, and Hyouka in Takayama, Gifu Prefecture.

So what are you waiting for? Make your next Japan trip that extra memorable with these special private guide tours!
