Bernard and I leave Ubud the next morning and head to our Holiday Inn Express which is located near the Ubud airport. We booked the next 4 days thinking that we were going to stay there.
However, we decided last minute that we had wanted to go to Nusa Penida a day early and beat the crowds so as soon as we checked in to HIE and then had some food, we started our adventure.
We booked a grab and headed to Sanur Beach and quickly looked for a Ferry. Please be aware that all of the transportation companies are all very aggressive. We were pretty satisfied with our choice of Angel’s Billabong. 200,000 IDR per person which was pretty reasonable. It would have been 400,000 IDR round trip. Most of the ferry services are the same price. Note that we do recommend making friends on the island and talking with some locals because on our journey back, we were only charge 150,000 IDR per person. (DISCOUNTS ARE POSSIBLE). We did stay a night and use a local tour services as a guide so that may have been it as well.
