Today i go to travel ancient castle in Osaka, Japan.
History of Osaka castle
The original Osaka Castle was built between 1583 to 1598 during the regime of Toyotomi Hideyoshi, who re-unified Japan in 1590 after a century of civil war. The castle was under the direct control of the Shogun, and the massive double moats and stone walls were a daunting obstacle for any would-be invaders. However, Toyotomi was later on succeeded by Tokugawa shogunate in 1603 and the last of the Toyotomi bloodline committed suicide at the castle when it was burnt to the ground in 1615.

The current castle is just a reconstruction of what the Tokugawa built to replace Hideyoshi’s castle. This history is still celebrated and remembered by the people, as the fall of the castle follows the start of the Edo Period — an altogether peaceful and prosperous time for Japan.

Osaka Castle makes a perfect spot for a relaxing escape from the city. Ascend to the top of the castle tower and look over the expansive castle grounds and neighboring skyscrapers. You can also have a picnic at the castle grounds and enjoy your bento along with the cherry and apricot trees that bloom beautifully in the spring.

Experience the history firsthand.
Adjacent to the castle is the Museum of History, where you can learn more about the abundant history of the caste and Japan’s Edo period. The multiple floors and exhibits provide a stimulating look into the Japan’s flourishing 260-year period of peace that suddenly rose globally, followed by massive development that started in the late 19th century.

Best time to visit Osaka Castle
The early April cherry blossom season is the perfect time to see the crowd of high-spirited locals spending the afternoon and evening hours drinking and partying under the pink canopy of the blossoms, with the illuminated castle adding historical depth to the scenery.
These kind of parties are a significant part of Japanese culture, with the season and affiliated memories referenced throughout literature and film.
