Rugby World Cup 2K19 travels

2nd place in my Japan trip was Beppu. Went there by plane from Nagoya on ANA (I love ANA!).
Beppu is located in the Oita prefecture on the island of Kyushu and is famous for its natural hot springs (onsens).

I am so glad I went there, what an incredibly beautiful little town nestled amidst mountains and lush landscape.

I attended the New Zealand-Canada RWC match at Oita stadium which is stunning (fully enclosed).

My motel was in the nearby town of Yufuin and the owner was a big rugby fan. He showed me around the best onsens as well as an incredible nightscape of Beppu bay (十文字原展望台) from a nearby hill. I was impressed by the Japanese hospitality!

Beppu is such a great place to relax in one of its dozens of onsens, taste great local food and explore the outdoors. I want to go back and climb Mt Yufu!

The highlight of the trip was checking out ‘the 5 hells of Beppu which are spectacular hot springs but way too hot for bathing: Umi Jigoku – Oniishibozu Jigoku – Shiraike Jigoku – Kamado Jigoku – Oniyama Jigoku)

Onsens I went to (in only 2 days!):

Yume Tamatebako – Shitanyu rotemburo – Hoyoland onsen – Yunosato onsen – Okamotoya onsen – 夢幻の里 春夏秋冬 and I’m sure a few more
