In this video I am showing you around my neighborhood in western Tokyo(Suginami district). Koenji (高円寺) is famous for having many shopping streets interconnected, including more than a dozen small stores. It is just a 5 minute train ride on the JR Chuo Line from Shinjuku. Koenji is popular for being a paradise for street fashion and having great cheap Japanese style bars (Izakaya) and restaurants. I hope you will enjoy it.
