Originally used on the Tokyo Eidan Chikatetsu (now Tokyo Metro) Hibiya Line until early 1990s, a number of class 3000 EMUs were sold to Nagano Electric Railway (Nagaden) and are still in daily use today. The last remaining “O type” O2 is set to retire very soon. the “O type” were never fitted with carriage cooling equipment (unlike the N type, that can be seen in this video).
