La Shomon Restaurant in Kobe, great atmosphere! The owner, his wife & his son were very kind & meticulous! The food was delicious美味しい but pricey as expected with Kobe beef. Very very tender, the most tender i ever ate! But, let’s say i’m use to the western Canadian beef in terms of taste: less subtle & a bit stronger. Also, there’s a lot of fat! The cows of Kobe are massaged, and they are grown with a lot of love and care. I read somewhere they drink sake too! 😀
