FEATURES IN THIS EPISODE:
Shijo-Omiya Station
This is the train that takes you directly to Arashiyama Station, since I am staying at Hotel M Plus Omiya.
Tips: Always Plan your trip in advance – so everything is easily accessible.

Arashiyama Bamboo Forest
The Bamboo Forest is one of the major Tourist Site here in Kyoto, the place is beautiful and you can only appreciate this in its glory around 6 in the morning. Around 7am the tour bus will start to come and trying to get your perfect video or photo would be nearly impossible. So do come early, as they say it the early bird gets the kill 

Arabica Coffee
Arabica Coffee is located in front of the Arashiyama Mountain, Ooi River, and Togetsukyo Bridge. Arashiyama is famous for the Tenryū-ji, a UNESCO World Heritage temple with heavenly garden, and the famous Arashiyama Bamboo Grove.
So if you are an avid coffee lover as I am or simply itching to get your morning coffee fix after that early trip to the Bamboo Forest (if you followed my guide) then this will wake you up and prep you ready for your Next adventure..
Generally, peak times are during the afternoon. So to avoid a long wait, please visit them in the morning for a coffee with an amazing view.

Other recommend place and activities in Arashiyama
– Arashiyama Monkey Park
– Tenryu-Ji Temple
– Boat Rental in Arashiyama
– Tenzan-no-yu Onsen (Hot Spring)

Menbakaichidai Fire Ramen
Oh boy, if you love Ramen or generally just a foodie like I am, you must visit this restaurant.
Warning though: they do use a lot of green onion and unfortunately it’s a necessary ingredient to make the Fire go KABOOM – Fortunately I love onion.
The Broth itself is smooth and not too thick, it almost felt like Gogyo Ramen (Burnt Ramen) – as you can taste the burnt onion which actually amplifies the Ramen flavour to a whole new level.
Reservation: Not needed – they do not take reservation
My Tips: Come on off hours aka not during Lunch time or Dinner, try and come between the popular dining hours
