The group stayed at the small Manmaru Guesthouse or “Minshuku” – only a short walk away from Anbo Port and Anbo Village. There was a small supermarket nearby, several shops and buses stop nearby.
Compared to other ryokans, hotels, etc., stayed in on this trip through South Japan, the food here was a little less to our taste also Steve gobbled down those “escargot-e” looking things like nobodies business. I thought they were bland.
It was also a surprise to stay in a family owned guesthouse that had regular beds. Here for three night, I anticipated futons on the floor again.
