We board the largest cruise ship we’ve ever been on, Royal Caribbean’s Ovation of the Seas headed for Singapore via Okinawa Japan, Taiwan, Hong Kong, and Vietnam.
Our first port is Okinawa Japan a place I’ve always dreamed of visiting since my Grandfather fought there in World War II.

Even thought we don’t speak Japanese, the city buses in Okinawa Japan are really easy to use and we do a walk through for you.

We spend the entire day getting to and visiting Peace Memorial Park where the names of all souls lost during WWII are inscribed. Very powerful for me and a beautiful site that is very well maintained by the government of Japan.

This ship is really beautiful and is also the newest ship we’ve been on. One of the downsides of a newer ship is the MOUNTAIN of non stop technical problems that never seemed to get fixed. Still a beautiful ship, hope they get it figured out soon because the crew was amazing!
