Another great train ride through Japan. The Japanese rail system is user friendly and wide reaching…perfect for people like us! We check into another lovely (but not cheap) hotel right in downtown Osaka in the Nipponbahsi area and head straight to the Kuromon Market where we waste no time sinking our teeth into some amazing Kobe Beef which seems like the thing to do since Kobe is just a stones throw from here. We wander around downtown Osaka until well after dark exploring and snacking our way through. Kate manages to find the only Taco Bar in Osaka and we are pleasantly surprised by not only the venue, but the interesting and tasty take on tacos…skip the nachos though. Another day, another feast. We make sure to feast and shop our way through Dontonbori, Osaka’s most famous shopping street where Kate takes the opportunity to taste test the Japanese Big Mac.
