The Nakasendo Trail was a feudal Japanese highway following the Kiso Valley and connecting Kyoto and Edo. Today, nerds recording on their iPhone 8s can pretend they’re going off the beaten track and also enjoy a small work out as they follow the hiking trail from Magome to Tsumago.
