The first day in Hakuba was spent exploring the village and sorting lift passes at Hakuba Base Camp.
Hakuba Base Camp is a central stop for shuttle buses and it is close to Happo One Ski Resort and a number of accommodation options. You can also book many excursions and sightseeing tours from Hakuba Base Camp but be aware you can do them cheaper if you organise them yourself. Look out for our future video on visiting the snow monkeys whilst in Hakuba.
The Hakuba Valley Lift Pass provides access to 10 different resorts and travel on local inter resort shuttles. There are lots of options depending on the duration of your trip and you can buy a pass with rest days included.
