Karato Ichiba Market: Yamaguchi Shimanoseki (near Fukuoka) -Japan
First day of our trip to Japan. Arrived at Fukuoka and headed to Karato Ichiba Market which is 70 Kilometres from the Fukuoka Airport.
We tried Fugu fish (puffer fish) and other Sashimi. You will see why this is the best seafood market in Japan.

It only opens for lunch on weekends from 10AM-3PM with discounted food after 2 PM.
It is open during the weekday but more for buying and selling fish.
