Sapporo TV Tower is a landmark of the city.
Located at the east end of Odori Park and on the Sosei River, which runs nort south, the 147.2-m-tall Sapporo TV Tower was built
when TV broadcasting began in the city Odori Park, which extends east to west (width: 105 m, length: 1.5 km) in the downtown area,
is surrounded by street trees and adorned with flowerbeds, lawns and fountains as well as various sculptures, making it a popular
retreat for visitors and city residents.

札幌テレビ塔
地上90.38mの展望台へは3階よりエレベーターで約60秒。
眼下には、四季折々の花が咲く大通公園と遠くの日本海や、
雄大な石狩平野などを背景に、札幌市全域が広がります。
また、ホワイトイルミネーションやさっぽろ雪まつり、
YOSAKOIソーラン祭りなどのイベントも一望できます。
