JAPAN (8 DAYS ITINERARY) DAY 3
“The Beauty of Hakone”
The story of a lonewolf with 2 couples exploring the land of the rising sun for the first time. April is a good month to visit Japan because of the good weather and of course the Sakura. Throughout the journey, we’ve visited a lot of places where I would breakdown the VLOG into daily parts which would consist of the details of the itinerary.
DAY 3
An exciting day to start with, because we’re going to Hakone on day 3. Starting by taking the train from Odakyu Railway, Shinjuku with our one day Hakone Pass where you could get it from online reservation. It only takes about 1.5 hours to get to Hakone where it’s just like in another realm to compare to the busy city of Tokyo.
Again, it was a perfect weather for a day trip to this beautiful heavenly Hakone. The first stop we went is Lake Ashi. The blue sky and deep blue lake makes my heart melted with the fantastic view of mount Fuji. I have not been travelling to a lot of places but I am sure Japan would still be in my top list for the next couple years.
It’s a little bit a tragedy to be a lonewolf in the group as I would really want to share this prettiness with my future other half. We took a lot of great pictures which would be definitely hanged to the wall in my bedroom. We took the cruise where it brings us to the Cable car station.
From here, we slowly enjoyed the view from Cable car. At this point the mount Fuji is even more visible and WOW! I realised that I’ve seen a lot of this vision from Anime and finally I am the one here with the view.
Owakudani, was the last stop by the Hakone Mountain. We found something interesting here, the black egg where the locals believe after eating it you’re gonna prolong your lifespan by 7 years. Does not taste any different with any other common eggs, it’s just that it’s black.
The last activity we planned in Hakone was the Onsen!
HOT SPRING HOT SPRING HOT SPRING!
This was what I’ve been waiting for. We went to Tenzan Onsen where it is also a tattoo friendly Onsen. Totally a stunning experience ever with my besties. We went inside naked and embrace the hot pool just like there is no tomorrow.
Hakone is a recommended place if you visit Tokyo, mainly for the scenery and getaway from the busy city.
