The Thakhek Loop is a popular circuit in central Laos. Travellers reach Khammouane Province and rent a motorbike for a few days to do the “Thakhek Motorbike Loop”.
Along the loop we can see amazing caves, impressive landscapes or limestone forests, calm lakes, crystal waters lagoons and beautiful villages with native tribes.
On this fifth and last day of the loop, we say good bye to our friends in Nakai resort and continue the last part of the route stopping in Tham Nang Ene Cave where we see an elephant and a monkey. Then we reach Thakhek again to return the motorbike and catch a bus to our next destination: Vientiane.
Fourth leg: Nakai to Thakhek.
