There is this Tokyo race car/SuperMario kart you can rent and drive throughout the city( plus dress up as the Super Mario characters) but you need an international license, so if your interested, make sure to handle the necessary steps prior to your vacation. I wanted to mention this because I found out about the activity while I was there, and wanted to do it so bad, but only had a CA drivers license. I even called triple A to see if they can have me fill out the paper work while I was in Japan, but you have to do it in person or online PRIOR to traveling. (You can purchase tickets through Maricart.com or Expedia.com) Check it out! Next time I go to Japan, I will definitely be doing this.
