My Golden Week ended with one of the greatest experiences of my time in Japan: I got to visit my best friend’s house, meet and hang out with her family, and see parts of Japan in the springtime so beautiful and green I couldn’t even imagine. And, of course, I got to visit the beach and feel a real salt breeze for the first time in a very, very long time.
