Eating a PIG’S HEAD and Drinking SEA SNAKE SOUP — Okinawa, Japan | The Travel Intern

Just… Just watch.

From the weirdest bar in Tokyo, to the ultimate weirdest foods in Okinawa. Check out how the team fared when faced with interesting choices of food.

Also, if you’re headed to Okinawa:

First of all,

00:53 – Irabu Sea Snake Soup (Kana)Yes, you got that right. Slimy, slippery, sea snake. In your mouth. Took 18-36 hours to cook and prepare, etc. It’s actually quite a legit thing — reservations are made way in advance, so the team was really #blessed.

02:40 – Goat Sashimi (Yanbarukuinaa)
Goat meat makes “power overwhelming”? MMMMM, not sure if the team became overwhelmingly powerful, but that’s what is promised! If you’re not for the goat smell, this might be a real challenge for you. HERE’S TO TRYING NEW THINGS!!!!!!!!!

05:50 – Pig’s Head (Heiwa Dori)
Not pig’s ear, or pig’s tongue, but a whole PIG’S HEAD. It’s actually pretty good… fat… if you don’t look at it. If you’re afraid, just think of all the collagen you’re gonna get in yo system.

Would you try all these delicacies?

LET US KNOW!
