Milky Subway ‘Kimono’ Themed Pop Up Store in Kyoto 2026

A new pop up store for the anime series Galaxy Express Milky Subway will be held at the Kyoto IP Bookstore from April 28 to June 1, 2026.

The shop will feature a variety of new merchandise based on the theme of traditional Japanese clothing and original illustrations.

The product lineup includes acrylic stand figures for 1,760 yen, mini banners for 1,100 yen, and mini bromide and sticker sets for 440 yen each.

Fans can also find items such as washi-style A4 clear files for 660 yen, acrylic blocks for 2,200 yen, and T-shirts for 3,850 yen.

Other available goods include blind-box style items like acrylic keychains for 715 yen, button badges for 550 yen, and Purifu seals for 550 yen.

The store will also sell specialty items such as Chirimen-style drawstring bags for 1,650 yen, bandages for 880 yen, and traditional Kyoto Nama Yatsuhashi for 1,620 yen.

Customers will receive one random postcard from a set of six different designs for every 2,200 yen spent including tax.
