I’m sure you’re aware of the acronym TACO: “Trump Always Chickens Out.”

It’s become the go-to meme whenever Trump says he’s going to do something and then backs down. Some examples include the 472 times he threatened tariffs on other countries, that whole annexing Greenland thing, and threat after threat to fire Fed Chair, Jerome Powell.

Well, now it looks like the phrase has made it to Japan.A Japanese news show appeared to dig into the terminology.Like, they got really deep with it.

In case you were wondering why it’s hitting so hard in Japan, the Washington Post reported that the word TACO sounds like the Japanese word for octopus, “tako.” Go figure!
