I Dreamed Here at 17. I Finally Came Back. | Nagasaki, Japan 4K Travel Vlog
Nagasaki is a city that exists somewhere between the West and Japan, between past and present. I first came here at 17, and it changed something in me.
Wandering through Nagasaki’s historic streets, from the colonial elegance of Glover Garden to the lantern-lit nights of the Lantern Festival, I found myself tracing not just the city’s layers, but my own. A place where East meets West, where Dejima once cracked open a closed world, and where 15,000 red lanterns can make you forget which century you’re standing in.

At 17, I wanted to be a writer. Now I do it with a camera.
Nagasaki was the place where that dream started, and this video is me going back.
Is there a place that reminds you of who you used to be? I'd love to know where. 🎞️
