撮影2013年８月10日 栃木県の那須塩原の鹿股川上流にあるスッカン沢は、緑に囲まれた周辺には滝が点在します。中でも落差10mの「素連（それん）の滝」は周辺に、コケと緑の自然がそのまま残っている美しい森。また、川の水は場所によって青白く見えます。これは、スッカン沢が高原山のカルデラ跡を水源とし、鉱物や炭酸等の鉱泉成分を多く含んでいるから。また、１月下旬から２月初旬にかけての厳冬期にはスッカン沢では見事な滝の氷柱群も見られる。行き方は東北自動車道の矢板ＩＣで下り、
県道56号線を八方ヶ原方面へ山の駅「たかはら」を目指す。その先きの鹿股川（かのまたがわ）に架かる雄飛橋の手前の駐車場からスッカン沢の「雄飛の滝線歩道」を歩き、最初の滝が素連の滝。
