Kushiro-Hokuyo High School students take part in exchange with 3rd MLG Marines at Camp Kinser

U.S. Marine Corps Capt. Brett Vannier, communication strategy and operations director with 3rd Marine Logistics Group, speaks with students from Kushiro-Hokuyo High School, Hokkaido, at Camp Kinser, Okinawa, Japan, March 27, 2026. The students engaged in exchanges of language, culture, and shared interests with Marines. They were also given the opportunity to tour the installation’s Battle of Okinawa Museum, where they gained insight into the significance of Okinawa’s past.
