Katsuura is a charming seaside town in Chiba, about 2 hours from Tokyo.
During the Big Hina Doll Festival(End of Feb〜Mar 3)over 25,000 hina dolls are displayed across the town, including around seventeen hundred on the stone steps of Tomisaki Shrine.
Katsuura is also known for its cooler climate, beautiful ocean views, seaside cafés, hidden temples, and even a unique underwater park etc.
